Day 3: Traveling through Rome! Again!

We woke up around 7:00 the next day and had breakfast in the hostel. The breakfast was all right, except for the multi-energy drink. We took a bus to the Vatican City. Once inside the city we went through the Vatican Museum. Every single square inch of the walls, ceilings and floors were covered in paintings, mosaics, and other fine art. While walking through the city we went through the Raphael Rooms, which consisted of many high detail frescoes. It all lead up to the Sistine Chapel, which was indescribably beautiful. Once we departed the Vatican City we went to lunch. Which was decent, but way overpriced. After lunch we went to St. Peters Cathedral, which like the Vatican was covered in fine art. We next took a bus to the Coliseum. We walked around it for awhile and got several great views from several different levels. After all of these amazing sites we went back to our hostel. Raphael went to Italy a few years ago and went to this restaurant. He kept going on and on about it so we finally gave in and gave it a try. It was possibly the best pasta restaurant we've ever been to. We all went back to the hostel very very content. There was a soccer game on, so some of us went to watch the game. The other group of us went to sleep.
